      Diverse soorten bestelwagens

      Een bestelwagen of bestelbus is een auto bedoeld voor het vervoeren van goederen en spullen. De kleinere bestelbussen zijn meestal gebouwd op een (aangepast) chassis van een personenwagen, zoals de Volkswagen Caddy. Grotere bestelwagens hebben een eigen chassis en worden ook camionette genoemd. Ze zien eruit als een kleine vrachtwagen.


      De gesloten bestelwagens

      Een gesloten bestelauto heeft (meestal) geen ramen bij de laadruimte. Als de laadruimte wel zijramen heeft dan betreft het meestal een bestelbus die ook geschikt is voor personenvervoer. Dit heeft in veel gevallen invloed op de hoogte van de wegenbelasting.
